River Where The Moon Rises: Ji-Soo Spills Info On His Character


Ji-soo, who will be next seen in Kdrama, River Where The Moon Rises, shared some details on his character. Ji-soo is playing On Dal in his upcoming show. Also, he has a specific reason regarding why he chose to play On Dal. He will lead the new show, which will retell the classic Goguryeo Tale. Ji-soo will act opposite to the female lead and his love interest in the show, Kim So Hyun. The actress is playing princess Pyeonggang. And the fans can’t wait to see these two on-screen.

On Dal (Ji-soo) is the son of renowned general On Hyup. However, due to some reasons, he is asked to live like a normal person. In between living his normal life, he meets Pyeonggang (Kim So-Hyun) and immediately falls for her. Unfortunately, Pyeonggang uses On Dal to get Goguryeo and become its first female ruler. However, even knowing about her plans, he loves her and decides to be with her.

Ji-Soo Talks About His Role in River Where The Moon Rises

Ji-soo shared his views on playing On Dal, and why he chose the role. The-27-year old begin and said that he found the role very interesting. Ji-soo said that he wanted to play On Dal because he is brave. But, also naive enough to be called ‘Foolish On Dal.’ He described On Dal as a young man with a sweet, pure, and warm heart.

He further went ahead and said, “I think On Dal, and I are similar in that we both cherish our families and have a heart for pure love.” Ji-Soo said that On Dal is kind and is someone who does not expect anything in return. Moreover, the actor wants to learn from him and want to become more like On Dal.
