The Equalizer Season 1 has been a very anticipated show among the fans who are in love with the franchise. The genre of this series is a crime as well as drama, and it first came out on CBS back on the 7th of January 2021. Previously, we have had a film set in the Equalizer world in 2014, and then it had a sequel later in 2018. It was actually a reboot of the series that goes by the same name. The Equalizer has adapted its plot from the book that goes by the same name and has been penned down by Michael Sloan as well as Richard Lindheim. Andrew W. Marlowe, along with Terri Edda Miller.

All this while, the show has been produced by Zoe Robyn as well as Meredith Mills. The plot mainly features Robyn McCall, who has a daughter named Delilah. She has been raising this kid on her own and is a very enigmatic mother. Well, we see that Robyn also assists each person who has nowhere to go with her variety of skills. In this way, she is going through her own redemption while being an angel and a protector to all those who are not able to defend themselves.

Till this point, we have had two episodes in this series, but the audience is going nuts over its plot. The show has a heart-warming concept full of kindness that makes a person feel good. Another major portion of the successful outcome of this series is the amazing cast members that they have employed. In the show, we witness actress Queen Latifah reprising the role of Robyn McCall, also known as, The Equalizer. Then we have Tory Kittles enacting the character of Marcus Dante. He is a detective in the New York Police Department and is set on finding out Robyn. Then we have Adam Goldberg playing the part of Harry Keshegian. He is the husband of Melody as well as an excellent hacker.

He was able to prove to everyone that he has died because Robyn helped him with it. Liza Lapira reprising the role of Melody Mel Bayani. She used to be a sniper in the Air Force. Later, she quits the job and has now become a bar owner. She is a friend of Robyn from when they were in the service. Laya DeLeon Hayes enacts the character of Delilah McCall. She is the daughter of Robyn, who is 15 years of age. Lorraine Toussaint plays the part of Viola Marsette, or as we popularly know her, as Aunt Vi. She is a very wise and truthful person. She resides with Robyn as well as her teenage daughter. Chris Noth reprises the role of William Bishop.

The Equalizer Season 1 Episode 3 Release Date 

As the show starts, we witness Robyn McCall working in The Company. This is an illegal department that does work for the government of the United States. As we see, she grows tired of the work she has to do and thus, leaves her job. She decides to properly raise her daughter, that is, Delilah. One night, as she passing by the city, she acknowledged a young teenage girl and saves her from being raped. This particular girl named Jewel Machado is actually a suspect in the killing of a lawyer named Chance Kovak. Melody and Harry are the old friends of Robyn, and she contacts them to hide Jewel. Thus, she sets on her work and finally finds out about the real killer who has murdered the lawyer.

These people are arrested by Marcus Dante, the NYPD police detective whom Robyn met as she was disguised as the lawyer of Jewel. Then we see her set up a website and offer to help any person who has odds set against them. Thus, her work starts from here as she begins helping all the people who ask her for it on her website. In the most recent episode, Robyn accepts the request of a woman whose son was kidnapped. She works on this problem with all her heart and finally is able to get to the bottom of it. The Equalizer season 1 episode 3 release date has been scheduled for the 21st of February 2021.
